The shrine and tomb of the Prophet Shuaib is located in the Wadi Shu'ayb area south of the city of Salt in Jordan. It is a modern mosque with a tomb that belongs to the Prophet Shu'ayb. It is one of the most important archaeological sites in Jordan.
The mosque was inaugurated under the patronage of King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein in the month of Ramadan in 2003. It includes a chapel for men (which can accommodate about 500 worshipers), another for women (which can accommodate 200 serpents), a shrine, A library, housing for the imam and another for the muezzin, and Iwan, in addition to the health courses for men and women, and the total area of ​​2000 m 2 and the total cost of this project 950 thousand dinars. The old building consisted of a room with a small dome and inside the shrine of the Prophet Shuaib has been through the project to develop the entire site and connect it through the secondary street on the main street leading to the Jordan Valley.
The shrine and tomb of the Prophet Shuaib is one of the most important archaeological sites and religious shrines of the Muslims of Jordan, in order to believe that the prophet Shu'aib is one of the prophets mentioned in the Qur'an. Making the region a tourist attraction and attracting thousands of visitors every year, including large numbers of East Asian countries such as Pakistan, Malaysia and Indonesia, especially on Friday, which is characterized by frequent visitors in the region as well as in the month of Ramadan.
