Qasr Al Hallabat

Qasr al-Hallabat (25 km) from the city of Zarqa. The archeological evidence indicates that Nabataean was built in Nabataeans. The ruins date back to the Roman period, where it was built with other castles to ensure the protection of the eastern roads. Al-Hallabat Palace is located east of the city of Zarqa. The palace was built on a 640 m hill and the palace is square in shape. There is also a prominent tower at each corner of the palace. Within the Palace of Hallabat there is a courtyard surrounded by a group of rooms and halls. A mosque was built at the south-east corner of the palace.
